We rented a weekend at Bakkelund Bed & Breakfast and loved it. Bakkelund is a former farm in a secluded location on a hill with a panoramic view of the island. From here you can see the Baltic Sea on two sides of the island. The place is ideal for exploring the island all around. Mönsklint is within sight, footbridges are only a few minutes away.
The former agricultural buildings were appropriately converted. The rooms are in one building. Each room has its own terrace with a wonderful view over the fields and meadows of the island of Mön.

The rooms are all designed in different colors. Sleeps very well in the beds. There is a loft bed for each child. On request and for a small surcharge, a cot can be placed in the room. The bathroom is very big. You can get a hair dryer or bring one yourself.
Breakfast is served in a separate house by the operating couple. There is a small buffet with everything you bring in the morning to experience the island of Mön strengthened.
There is a lot on offer for children. There is a small playground with a swing, rabbits and chickens that you can feed with dandelions.
So if you want to experience the island of Mön on a weekend or on a short trip, the Bakkelund B&B is in good hands.

We liked Bakkelund Bed and Breakfast because the rooms were always clean and the family that owns it always greeted us with a friendly smile.
